When it comes to accessories, I am a fan and am always looking for the next best thing. I even used that monitor mount that allows you to hang your headphones on your monitor. It looked something like the TotalMount Monitor Stand for Headphones. Even if that was a space saver, I stopped using it because I don't use my headphones that much and did not want to look at them for hours every day.
The best thing is that it comes with 3 USB ports for charging, which is great as I use Sony WH-1000XM5 Headphones when heading outside or taking calls and very little while working on my computer. Having a charging port nearby will help me charge them more and have them ready most of the time. I will use a second USB port to charge my phone. The third charging port is great as there are always more devices to charge.
After only a few minutes, I ordered it, and it arrived a few hours ago. I mounted it using the screws, not because of the weight of my headphones, but because I might hit it trying to get my headphones. Another reason for mounting it using the screws is because of push when plugging in USB cables.
With this stand installed, I can see an improvement in my setup. There are no more USB cables on my desk, and the headphones are out of sight charging until I need them.
Is this stand for everyone?
Having a dedicated stand for your headphones, I think, is a must.
