Make Your Smart TV Faster and Smarter

Most smart TVs are limited and slow and, quite frankly, not even that smart.

Get a new brain for your TV and experience features only available on some of the high-end televisions on the market. Televisions are expensive, and we need large screens, Smart abilities, and beautiful colors. The competition is fierce as well. All these things make TV manufacturers cut corners.

What corners do manufacturers cut?

I am glad you asked. First, manufacturers understand that customers care about the image and the screen. Those two are the elements you interact with most of the time. It's what you look at in the store. So they cut expenses on the brains of your smart TV. There are a few models with incredible computers embedded and smooth navigation through the different apps, but those are very expensive. That does not change the fact that most smart TVs are incredibly slow. There are, however, a few options for making your TV smarter. You can even add Smart ability to your older TV. Enter Roku. Ultra.

If we're going to do this, let's do it right. Roku Ultra.

Roku is a streaming device that allows users to access a variety of content on their television. It's kind of like a smart TV, but better and faster. The ultra model is even more than that.

With hardware like Roku, you learn to enjoy the small stuff. Like the way you can ask it to find your remote, which will play a sound. It's awesome.

Another thing I like a lot is the Private Listening feature. The remote has a headphones jack which you can use to listen to the TV. How cool is that?! I love it. Now I know you can connect Bluetooth headphones to your TV, but especially on lower-end TVs, this is often slow, and sometimes it keeps disconnecting. Did I mention that the quality of the sound is excellent? Of course, it is! It's Dolby.

This device runs video up to 4k/60fps, with Dolby vision, and features a killer Wifi module.

It seems like the guys at Roku got together and decided to gift us with features available only on the most high-end Smart TVs on the market.

If you have an older TV (or a dumber new one), you should invest in such a device. You will gain a faster menu interface and better compatibility with other devices, all on top of the great features already offered by Roku Os.

If Roku Ultra seems too expensive, there are other options (versions), like the Roku Streaming Stick 4K, which is half the price of the Roku Ultra. You will sacrifice a few features, but even so, it will most likely be better than what comes by default with most Smart TVs.

How do you set it up?

Setting up Roku is very similar to any smart device. You plug it in, connect it to the TV via HDMI and follow the prompts on the screen. Make sure to configure your TV to display the correct input source. The prompts will guide you through connecting with your Wifi network, but you can also use Ethernet.

You need to create a Roku account if you don't have one.

After setting it up, you can connect to the Roku Channel Store. Roku calls applications channels.

If you want to check out the available applications on your Roku device, you can visit the store this link.

Hope you made up your mind and decided to upgrade your television-watching experience.

I have used the Roku Ultra and can confidently say it will bring new life to any screen, new or old.

Upgrading your TV with a Roku device is a wise choice for anyone looking to enhance their viewing experience. With access to thousands of channels, this device allows you to stream your favorite shows and movies faster than most smart TVs. Additionally, the Roku platform offers many features, such as voice control, extra features, and high-quality image and sound, that make it easy to find and watch the content you love. So, if you're ready to take your TV viewing to the next level, check them out.
